I called in sick for three days in a row. It had to be done. I've been working in that wretched place for a year and a half without one day of vacation time. During that year and half I've also been going to school full time. I think I was due for a mini breakdown.
All I needed was a good cry and a few days off. I'm ready to get back in the saddle now. I can handle getting yelled at in several languages about cell phone bills. No worries. Your cable's out? Well honestly, I don't really care so could you hold for a minute?
See, I'm ready for cable and cell phone customer service. I'm jaded and surly. This is how I was taught.
I think I'm sticking with this job for another month. Ally and I are going on vacation in October. After the vacation (and the vacation pay) has been had then I'll be in search of a new job. It's time for new cheese.
