It all works out

Well folks, it was all too good to be true. A mere two days after crowing about my good car/mechanic luck my car died. I was driving along, belting out Lisa Loeb and everything shut off. Turns out I needed a new alternator which was a little more expensive then $70.

My mother offered to pay for it several times but I just couldn't let her. This is my car and my reasonability. If I had let her foot the bill I had the feeling that it would come back to haunt me. When Ally and I move out in September I'm sure I would have heard "How can you afford to move out? You can't even take care of car repairs." There's always an ulterior motive and in my mother's case it usually revolves around trampling my dreams of moving out. I don't know why but she never wants me to move out. Honestly, she's said she's okay with me here until I'm 30.

So, the car was expensive. Expensive enough for me to convince Ally to just say "Fuck it, we're this far in the hole anyway, we might as well....." regarding a fancy new haircut. Cue the call from my stylist asking me to hair model for her. Translation, I get a fancy new hair cut for FREE. My stylist was all "I know you'll let me do anything to you hair so I thought I'd give you call when I needed a model"

Everything always works out in the end. I'm a firm believer of that.
