Ally is a month into her new job. The little (well..... being 120 pounds at 7 isn't exactly little but the kid can't help it) girl is starting to get used to the new routine. At first there was much pinching. Ally would come home after work full of scratches, bruises and defeat. Now we're officially one-week pinch free. The bruises are fading.
I'm a month into being an afternoon housewife. I still work 40 hours a week but I get off at 2:00 while Ally doesn't get home until 5:30. I feel as though if my girlfriend has to work from 6:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m. everyday then the least I can do is have supper waiting on the table.
The bike riding hasn't killed me yet. I can do the 8 km (UPHILL!) ride in about 25 minutes. Look out for my quads of steel. I spend the whole ride home talking myself into pedaling. Yesterday I decided I wanted to make a t-shirt that says "Bikers do it in high gear".
Speaking of t-shirts, L and I have been dreaming up t-shirts featuring Canadian "heroes". Pictures to come.
I may get a chance to update from time to time now. Life is settling down all over again.
