As of today same sex marriage in my province is allowed! Supreme court says yes! Provincial government says it will not oppose. WOOP AND WOOP! Honestly, I thought it might take a little longer for everything to organize itself in my little province. I'm so happy.
Like I needed another reason to be a proud Canadian. Honestly American's, get on the move. Come east. We're happening out here. There's ocean, cliffs, music, whales, icebergs, shopping on Sundays, Screech, hockey, trees and legal gay marriage.
I stayed up into the wee hours of the morning last night wrapping all of Allison's Christmas presents. I was hunched so long that I hurt my back. I honestly think I got her everything she could possibly ask for. Even some thinks she wouldn't think to ask for but I know she'll like.
My friends, I think I've finally done it. The cranky free Christmas is upon us.
